Hello! IIFT is a very college, not just in Kolkata but also in India, which does not accept CAT score; it accepts the score of the IIFT test. http://tedu.iift.ac.in/iift/finalplacements.php Kindly visit this link for details about its stellar placements. You can even consider IMI as a backup; it accepts XAT score.

Unfortunately, your graduation score is way below the eligibility criteria to pursue an MBA course. For placements, both the cities have one the finest B-Schools I. e. IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta.

IEM takes admission through WBJEE and JEE Mains and not through any other joint entrance examination. Your rank should be between 700 to 800 (GMR) to get into IEM. IEM offers 12 seats for mechanical students through JELET. Usually, if seats get vacated at the end of the first year and there will be a chance of admission through JELET. In Techno India Salt Lake City for lateral entries eligibility criteria is that a candidate should have minimum 60% aggregate in Diploma in engineering.
Hope this helps.

Hi Arun,
It all depends on the management, mostly you would get it, as per your first preference, but be ready for your consecutive preferences. All the Best.

Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, duly Registered by the Government of West Bengal under Act XXVI based on the Central Government Act XXI of 1860.
So it is not illegal for you to practice in Alternative medicine if you earned a degree and license for it.
So, it is a green signal for you. My best wishes.
