You are eligible to write KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) after you finish your Diploma in Computer Science and continue your education through lateral entry through B.Tech as you fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions. To appear in KSET, normally it requires a Master's Degree in concerned subjects with at least 55 per cent of marks (or 50 per cent in case of reserved categories). However, if you are in the final year of the Master's degree, then there are also provisions under which you will be eligible for KSET if you are going to take up further studies. The authority released the KSET 2024 hall ticket on November 14, 2024 on the official website. The KSET 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website. It is an important document to be carried to the examination hall by the candidate. Without it, candidates will not be allowed to take the KSET 2024 exam.

Depending on the subject, the KSET exam's difficulty level is rated as moderate to tough. Paper 2, which is subject-specific and requires a deeper level of knowledge, may be more challenging than Paper 1, which is typically moderate and covers research and teaching aptitude. The number of attempts to pass the KSET exam is unlimited. As long as they meet the eligibility requirements, which normally include a minimum of 55% in a master's degree for candidates in the general category (with exceptions for reserved categories), candidates may sit for the exam more than once.

It is advised that candidates read the Karnataka SET 2024 Notification carefully before applying for the KSET 2024 examination. The KSET eligibility criteria 2024 require candidates to attain a minimum of 55% marks (general category) or 50% (SC/ST/PWD/OBC) in their Master's Degree from a UGC-recognized university. There's no age limit or attempt restriction. Indian nationality is mandatory

The Karnataka Exam Authority earlier extended the last date to apply for KSET 2024. The last date to apply for KSET 2024 is August 28, and candidates can pay the application fee until August 30, 2024. To fill out the form, general category candidates, Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB candidates, and other state candidates need to pay INR 1000, and Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD, and transgender candidates are required to pay INR 700.
