You are eligible to write KSET (Karnataka State Eligibility Test) after you finish your Diploma in Computer Science and continue your education through lateral entry through B.Tech as you fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions. To appear in KSET, normally it requires a Master's Degree in concerned subjects with at least 55 per cent of marks (or 50 per cent in case of reserved categories). However, if you are in the final year of the Master's degree, then there are also provisions under which you will be eligible for KSET if you are going to take up further studies. The B.Tech degree by itself is not considered to be sufficient qualification for KSET, except when followed by the Master's degree.Since you are from the state of Andhra Pradesh, also check whether you have additional eligibility conditions such as regional ones in the cases of any concessions or reservations you want to avail at a particular quota.
