If you want to make career in teaching in private colleges or school then this  is not compulsory to do KTET . But if you want to make your career on government college for teaching . Yes, you should have to compulsory to do KTET before applying for government teaching in Kerala. I hope this helps you.

The application fee for the Kerala TET is ?500 for all candidates except those belonging to SC, ST, and differently-abled categories, for whom the fee is reduced to ?250. For more information about KTET November 2024, including eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and passing requirements, candidates can refer to the official notification. Applicants should have completed Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with a minimum of 45 percent marks and possess a two-year Trained Teachers' Certificate (TTC) from a recognised board. Additionally, candidates must have obtained a BA/BSc/BCom degree from a recognised university.

The KTET hall ticket 2024 will be released on January 8, 2025. Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB) will issue the hall ticket or admit card on the official website - ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can download the KTET admit card using their login details on the link activated by the KPB. The KTET hall ticket is an important document which informs candidates about the allotted exam centre, date and time. Candidates need to carry their admit cards to the KTET exam hall.

Visit the official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in order to apply. Then click on "New Registration" and follow the instructions given. Enter in the registration form your personal details and educational qualification. You must upload a passport size photo with a dimension of 150x200 pixels and 20-30 KB. The Application fee is INR 500 for the candidates who fall under the unreserved category, and INR 250 for reserved categories. You should submit your application before November 20, 2024 to confirm your registration for this exam.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPB) will conduct the KTET Nov 2024 exam on January 18 and 19, 2025. The Kerala TET exam will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Registered candidates need to appear for the KTET 2024 exam and clear it by obtaining the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates who manage to obtain the qualifying or passing marks are awarded the KTET certificate which makes them eligible to apply for teacher recruitment in Kerala.
