The registration dates are easily available on the websites of these institutes.Generally, the registration starts from the month of Deember for the upcoming batch for most of the colleges. And the last date is generally around March or April.

IISc Bangalore accepts KYPY for admission to its B.Sc. (Research) programme. However, students who have taken JEE Main/ JEE Advanced/ NEET-UG are also eligible to apply for IISc Bangalore B.Sc. Admission.

Exam pattern for the KVPY exam 2023 will not be conducted from this year onwards. KVPY SA Pattern 2021: There will be 80 questions divided into parts 1 and 2 in this section. Part 1 will include 60 questions of 1 mark each. Every incorrect answer will have a negative marking of 1/4 marks. Part 2 will include 20 questions of 2 marks each. A negative marking of 1/2 mark will be done for each incorrect answer.

The KVPY fellowship has been subsumed under the INSPIRE fellowship. The eligibility criteria for this fellowship are as follows:
1. For stream SA, the students must have passed the 10th grade.
2. For stream SX, the students must have passed the 12th grade.
3. In order for their scholarship to be activated, students must pursue a Science or math stream course in their 11th and graduation years.
4. The students need to score more than 60% in math and Science subjects. This fellowship will be awarded to the top 1% of students who meet the INSPIRE criteria, according to the new guidelines.

The KVPY Fellowship is for the promotion of scientific thought in students. The full name of this fellowship is Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY).
1. This scholarship is funded by the Department of Science and Technology.
2. The department announces the fellowship exam in the month of May.
3. This scholarship is open to students in the Science stream from the 11th grade to the first year of a Science degree.
4. The students are called for interviews based on their performance in the aptitude test.
