International students at LaGuardia Community College offer Foundation Named Scholarship. Students need to apply for FAFSA with an assessment form. The eligibility for the scholarship is as follows:Any citizenship status 3.0+ GPACompleted 12 academic credits at LaGuardia before applyingFull-time students registered for 12 credits or more unless they are in their last academic year or are clinical health Science majors.All majorsInternational students with F-1 Visa must contact the International Student Services office to complete the required forms before applying.

LaGuardia Community College offers classes in person, online, and in a hybrid format. Students can choose the format according to their schedule. Students can take the online learning survey to know if online learning is suitable for them. Any academic course offered by the college is available to students in an online format.

LaGuardia Community does not offer on campus housing. However, LAGCC does offer programs to help students find housing. The LaGuardia Community College Housing List, sponsored by LaGuardia CARES,  offers housing options for students, faculty, and staff at the college. It also have airbnb partnership to provide semester-long housing vouchers for students experiencing homelessness. The estimated cost of food and housing is around $19,910.

Students can get part-time jobs on campus while studying by the FWS program.  The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program offers students an opportunity to earn money by working part-time and gaining valuable hands-on work experience. Work-Study students can work on or off-campus for up to 20 hours per week. Students who are not awarded FWS can file a FWS request so they can be placed on a waitlist. Students can also benefit from a paid Public Service Corps (PSC) Work-Study Internship.

LaGuardia Community College is an easy college to get into. It is a public institution with an open admission policy. Open admission colleges typically have few admission thresholds and will admit all applicants so long as certain minimum requirements are met. Students are required to have a high school Diploma or GED. The acceptance rate of LaGuardia Community College is also 89% to 100% which shows that the college is easy to get into and not very selective.
