Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management (LLIM) does not offer hostel facilities, and the institute does not have a hostel mess. Students usually make their own arrangements for accommodation in nearby places that may be rented flats. As the institute has a canteen that serves quality food, but students have to depend on external dining because no dedicated mess is available. The canteen is known to uphold quality standards, to serve at an affordable rate, but individual feedbacks about food quality differ since it's not a mess service. On average, the students are in charge of making their food arrangements.

Though LLIM offers a very vibrant campus life and many amenities, such as a canteen that serves quality food, the absence of on-campus hostels means students have to find their own housing. This is the case with most colleges in Mumbai, where off-campus living is preferred because of the diversity of housing options available in the city.
