Landscape Architecture is a field of study which involves the designing, planning and managing of the public areas, landmarks and parks in our environment. It is one of the sub-branches of architecture. These architects design traditional places such as parks, residential developments, campuses, gardens, cemeteries, commercial centres, resorts, transportation facilities, corporate and institutional centres and waterfront developments. There are two undergraduate professional degrees: a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA). One can pursue MS/MA/Ph.D in Landscape Architecture in foreign countries. These professionals would get jobs in public, private and academic organisations across the globe.

Landscape Architecture (LA) is a field of study which involves the designing, planning and managing of the public areas, landmarks and parks in our environment. Landscape architects play an important role in designing and developing the projects, with respect to the environment.
The scope right now is good and the LAs have good career opportunities. They can work in construction companies, government organizations where there is a need for landscape architecture, architectural firms, and landscaping companies. No needs to have good communication skills, analytical and technical skills, problem solving skills and creativity to be successful in this field. No one can get jobs like:

Pay scale: The initial salary would be around INR 35,000-45,000 per month and it would increase with work experience and skills.

Landscape architecture was a great and fruitful sector but in past times. Earlier, there was very lesser concentration om the internal look of an infrastructure. What all matters is the area and location along with atmospheric /environment conditions of the area which constitutes the landscape. But now, the things have changed. People are nowhere asking to beautify the interior look of the house, building, villas and bungalow. Hence, the necessity of an interior designer is rapidly increasing with every passing year. And, this is also the reason that why this field is considered as ever increasing. In India and the western countries, the requirement is increasing. But make sure that you do this interior designing course from a globally reputed and recognised college or institution.
