York College of Pennsylvania recognizes several English proficiency exams, which are accepted only for international students. These constitute: 1. *TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)* - A score of 78 is the least required.2. *IELTS (International English Language Testing System)* - Overall band score of 6.0 is the minimum requirement.3. *Duolingo English Test (DET)* - One is required to score at least 1054. *Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic)* - An individual needs to score a minimum of 53 and above.5. *GTEC (Global Test of English Communication)* -  Minimum score of 1189 is required.In case you score below the aforementioned minimums, you may however be given academic accommodations or support such as additional time on tests as well as assistance with writing.
