The eligibility requirements for the English Proficiency Entrance Scholarship are given as follows:·       Students can submit their application for admission and also submit the fees by the deadline which is indicated on their offer letter.·       The student must arrive in Canada and continue to be enrolled at the college after the 10th day of the semester.·       This scholarship is awarded towards the second semester fees and will be awarded before the deadline for the student’s second semester fee payment.·       If the student has paid their fees for the entire academic year before receiving the scholarship money, the refund will be made through cheque in the month following the start of each semester.

Students from universities in India where English is not a primary language must provide the English Language Proficiency Examination score. English is one of the official languages in Canada and the primary language of instruction at the University of British Columbia (UBC). TOEFL: The minimum TOEFL Score required for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is 90 for the internet-based exam and 55 for the paper-based test. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the academic IELTS test. Please check the University of British Columbia eligibility for Indian students to verify English language score requirements. PTE: A minimum overall score of 65 on the academic test with minimums of 60 in each reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Individual graduate programs may require higher English language proficiency scores.
