Patna University is a well-known public state university in the capital city of Bihar which is accredited by BCI, AICTE, UGC, and DEB. Patna University has also been accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade and a CGPA score of 2.6 on 4 points scale. It offers quality education of at UG, PG, and Doctorate level.

(1st Year Fees) The Dayanand Brijendra Swarup (Post-Graduation) College, also referred to as D.B.S (P.G.) College, was founded in Dehradun in July 1961. Under the faculty of Science and Arts, the college offers UG courses in 13 topics and PG programmes in 11 subjects. DBS is well-known for its emphasis on science courses. Additionally, the college offers self-financing and add-on/vocational courses. For UG courses, you must have completed your 10+2 requirements, whereas PG programmes require a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Candidates must have a master's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55% in order to be eligible to apply for the UGC NET however, there is a 5% relaxation for reserved categories. You may also participate in your final post-graduation year. The eligibility requirements for assistant professorships and JRFs under UGC NET 2022 differ. The applicant must be in possession of a Masters degree in the pertinent field from an accredited university. The maximum age for JRF has been raised from 30 to 31 years old. To become a teacher in India, it is very important for candidates to have a Bachelors degree in education (B.Ed). One can also pursue a Masters degree in the same (M. Ed) to add to their qualification and to increase ones employability. Ed. Diploma in Education (D. Ed. ) is a 2 year certified teacher training course after 12th that will equip you with the knowledge required to teach at elementary schools (as nursery school teachers).
