When it comes to scope, let me be very frank. There are not many options like majority of people claim. To teach at school level, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in education and that's mandatory. If you want to go for college teaching, you need to clear your CBSE NET which in definitely the toughest as compared to other subjects. You need to either opt for Ph.D. which is will at least take 4-5 years. Now apart from teaching? Eco Hons require competence in mathematics as it has 40% mathematics. If you have not studied maths or not inclined to study then don't opt for Eco (Hons).

Try to solve previous year problems and also give some online tests as well to improve your performance. Focus on the basics. As in any entrance exam 45% questions are from easy category. So keep calm in the exams. Try solve all the questions, which you know, first. Best of luck.
