Since SASTRA admissions are mostly merit-based, the cutoff trends for lateral entry programs are not available . However, depending on the volume of applicants and diploma achievement levels, the rivalry may differ throughout areas such as computer science, electronics and communication engineering, and others. The B.Tech Lateral Entry tuition for the 2023 academic year was roughly 65,000 per semester, plus extra costs for sports and development, for a program cost of about 4,28,825 in total

Top IITs in India, such as IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and others, do not offer lateral entry for B.Tech programs. Admissions to these programs are strictly through the JEE Advanced exam, which requires candidates to qualify after clearing JEE Main. However, some institutes in India, including specific IIITs and private universities, might offer lateral entry into B.Tech programs, primarily for Diploma holders or those who meet specific eligibility criteria. For further details on lateral entry opportunities, you might explore private engineering institutions or state universities that provide such pathways.

The college offers several undergraduate programs, including B.Com, and has a strong affiliation with Bangalore University.
