Hello Kunali Nemade, VJTI is one of the prime institutions for engineering studies in the state of Maharashtra. As a result of this whether for first year of four year degree course or second year of four year degree course via lateral admissions, cutoffs are indeed very stiff. Hello Khushi, for lateral entry into second year of four year degree course of engineering in Karnataka is enable wire and entrance test that is conducted by the Karnataka government. This is called Diploma common entrance test. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this examination. Karnataka conducts and examination for lateral admission called Diploma common entrance test for DCET for short.
