HiThe admission for B.Tech (lateral entry) in a different college affiliated to same university is the same. You need to check the details from the web site because changes are made at times. All premier universities would take you as a lateral entry. Hence, first selection should be of a good college which is of repute so that it can give the best academic excellence in the form of best faculty who are there to help you. Hi,
Lateral entry in B.Tech is a good option because this way you are able to take admission in the second year of B.Tech after your Diploma. The government colleges accepting B.Tech lateral entry are KIITS University, Punjab Technical University - Jalandhar, Anna University – Tamil Nadu, Punjab University - Chandigarh, MIT, CEG etc. Where there are entrance exams and you need to clear them.
