Please check the eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria: Candidates with at least 55% marks overall in: 3-years Diploma in Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Or 4-years Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from any Institute approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education.
And a minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/12th/Diploma Examination. The candidate should have completed the diploma within its stipulated duration of 3 years

Educational Qualifications required for B.Tech Lateral Entry:
If you are planning to apply for B.Tech LE then you must have successfully completed a 3 year (most colleges only accept full-time Diploma) Diploma in engineering. Most of the engineering colleges in India require a 60% aggregate in 3-year Diploma (Engineering any stream) after class 10 board exam. Doing a Diploma in engineering itself has a lot of possibilities. Yes, you can easily get into Ganga Institute Of Technology And Management for MCA lateral entry after you have completed your BCA. It is a two years fill time on campus course. There are total 12 seats and the total fees for two years is Rs. 97,200.
