A student who has completed his/her 10+2 education with minimum 60% aggregate marks and is from the science and Maths background can take up a diploma course in engineering which is of one year and then can directly take admission to the B.Tech after Diploma.

(Bachelor OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS) (Lateral Entry Direct 2 Years). Admission to BCA course can be secured through an entrance exam or on merit basis. Aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility criteria primarily to be able to sit for entrance exam of any institute. Often, there is an entrance exam conducted by a particular university such as IPU CET SET.

Hi,In Uttarakhand, the exams name for lateral is UKSEE in Delhi, Indraprasth University conduct exam of lateral entry. In Uttar Pradesh also, LEET exam is conducted every year. Moreover, some universities also conduct their own entrance exam for lateral entry. You can also apply in VIT whose exam form last date is June.
