No, I am sorry to break it to you but lateral entry is not allowed in VIT. You have to find other colleges for this.

Yes, the admission process at DSCE is conducted through common tests that are conducted by state agencies and national agencies like CET and COMEDK. It commences in the month of March every year and concludes on July 31 of the same year. The lateral entry (Diploma Quota) through CET is for 3rd semester and commences in the month of July/August.

No, lateral entry is only possible in 2nd year after completing diploma. You cannot get admission into 3rd year in any university.
