Eligibility of MCA (Lateral Entry) :
Pass in a recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science) with mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained atleast 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examinations. (I) 10+2 years + 3 years Bachelors degree Pattern.

Hello Manjunath,
It's very nice that you have asked this query. You are not in the catagory of normal student but a diploma entry in second year as lateral admission. Right? Let me be frank. Practically speaking such transfers are feasible only and only if both colleges belong to the same management. However in your case it is not so and hence I would like to advise you that please forget about getting transfer and continue studying in the same college.

Eligibility Criteria for admission in B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is candidate must have completed Diploma in Engineering and Technology in relevant stream with minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
