Lateral entry

I went through the webpage of GITAM University but I could not find any reference for lateral admission. It gives detailed information about the process of admission for engineering courses in the first year based on the 12th results and of course the entrance test conducted by the University. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this university. If you can find any information in this about lateral admission I will be very happy to receive it.

Delhi Technical University has its own application form for lateral entry. It is released on their website. You need to qualify the entrance exam conducted by DTU to get admission.

To get admission in DTU, you need to qualify LEET exam.

Lateral entry is for diploma students not for engineering students. So, you cannot switch the university. However, I will suggest you to continue with the same college only, as college doesn't matter its you who make the difference.

What happened in this is if you are having a Diploma degree and want to go for graduation, then you can go for B.Tech (lateral entry) procedure in which you will get admission in B.Tech and supposed to study from 2nd year of B.Tech rather than starting from first year. So, this is the benefit for Diploma holders who want to go for B.Tech as a graduation.

In this, if you are having Diploma degree and want to go for graduation, then you can go for B.Tech lateral entry in which you will get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech directly and it will have same value as compared to normal B.Tech.
