The eligibility criteria for MCA programme from IGNOU is as under. Eligibility:- Any Bachelors degree of minimum 3 (three) year duration from a recognised University AND Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level or graduation level. Minimum Duration: 3 Years Maximum Duration: 6 Years Minimum Age: No bar Maximum Age: No bar.

Plain reading of the eligibility criteria of this university in Delhi for lateral admission in their engineering courses indicates that you indeed are eligible to appear for their entrance test and seek admission. Of course there are some more criterias as well about the minimum percentage you need to score in your diploma et cetera. Hello,
For lateral entry, you first have to search colleges which offer the same. There are various government and private colleges. Some of them take direct entry and some take entrance exam. You will need to go through the rules of that particular college on their website or directly contacting the admission cell.

Hello Rahul, you are already studying in the first year of engineering in one of the engineering colleges and now is desirous of seeking admission in the second year of engineering in an engineering college under DTU. Right? I am afraid it's not possible. It's like changing college midway in a course.
