You need to qualify KCTET. Admission is through Karnataka Examination Authority counseling based on the rank obtained in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
For management quota, admission is based on marks obtained in 10+2.

WBJEE JELET is only for Universities, Government Colleges and Self-Financing Engineering & Technological Institutes in the state of West Bengal, you cannot take admission through it in other state

You are eligible for taking the admission in B.Tech II year. First, it should clear that which college or university you want to take the admission. Because, many universities conduct the Entrance examination or on the basis of JEE-Mains Score card. If you have not given any entrance exam or not qualified the JEE-Mains exam yet you can take the admission on the percentage basis in class 12th Exam. No, Banasthali University does not allow admissions in second year. If you want admission for B.Com, you will have to repeat First year.

Yes, you can surely join BE in robotics and automation after Diploma in mechatronics.
B.Tech/BE through lateral entry (direct second year admission) will be best for you, you have to appear for LEET examination to get a good college.

Yes, of course. For admission in JGEC and KGEC, you don't need to complete class 12th. But, for JU you need to have passed Class 12th.
