Hello Arpit,It is very nice to know that you want to continue with your education and go for engineering graduation after completion of your Diploma by means of lateral entry. I think you are talking of PSG College and not PGS College of Engineering which is located in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. I am afraid there will be difficulty in getting admission in this college since the admission norms of all almost all the states restrict admission to the students who are to be domicile of that state and you are from Maharashtra. JB, The provision of lateral entry is available in following B.Tech programs as under with the eligibility criteria :
1. B.Tech (Marine engineering) :- Engineering Diploma holders in Marine/Mechanical with minimum 55% marks. The applications for this will be invited separately by the respective IMU Campuses/ Affiliated Institutes.
2. It depends on how many seats are vacant there. If there are 60 seats vacant in the second year then there are a total of 60 seats for lateral entry students.
