No, there is no option for lateral entry admission in SRM University.
If you want to take admission in the lateral entry then you may choose colleges like:-
1. Sathyabama University
2. Veltech University
3. Hindustan University

The admissions in lateral entry for this college are based on the merit of students. It is up to the college to give admission. You can also attempt MHCET for it. Since you are still studying, I would suggest you to improve your marks.

You have to write the test for it and on basis of that you will get the admission and then branch.

yes ,you can easily take admission in lateral entry of btech but for this you have to know before hand
how the college takes admission directly or through state or national level exam and secure good rank to get preferred branch
