Calicut University provides lateral entry admission to students who have completed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognised institution. Lateral entry is the process of enrolling directly into the second year (or 3rd semester) of a four-year BTech degree programme, allowing students who have completed a Diploma to finish their BTech degree in three years instead of four. This option is available in all five specialisations - Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Printing Technology, and Information Technology. In simple terms, B.Tech lateral entry is the direct entry of a candidate into the second year of engineering, which is in the third semester, after completing a Diploma in engineering or a B.Sc. in Physics or Mathematics. Those candidates who are accepted need not study the first year or first two semesters of B.Tech. and will be eligible for direct admissions. The duration of the whole course is six semesters, or three years.

Yes, you can take admission through lateral entry in a Diploma course after completing ITI.  Eligibility  Class 12th studentsITI holdersAdmission process  You can get direct admission into the 2nd year of the Diploma course.You will have to study for 2 more years.In every Polytechnic institution, there are some seats reserved for ITI students (approximately 10%).Course duration The Diploma course takes three years to complete.  After completing the Diploma course  You can sit for JEE Advanced.You are eligible to get admission in the IITs.You can pursue a bachelor's.

Yes, CGC Landran provides BPharm (LE) for a duration of three years. All those candidates who have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by PCI u/s 12 Pharmacy Act, 1948 are eligible to apply for BPharm course provides the Diploma holders are admitted directly to BPharm second year and have passed those subjects of BPharm first year which are not covered under the diploma. Yes, you can get admission in Jadavpur University.The procedure to get lateral entry into JU is only through JELET.Jadavpur University having a minimum seats for lateral entry students specially in core department (Electrical and Mechanical) having 1–2 seats and only one seat for Civil.
