Yes, SSRIT Chennai offers lateral entry to BTech course. Aspirants who have completed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education,  Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech in the branch corresponding to the branch of study can apply for BE/ BTech (LE). The candidates who possess a Degree in Science (BSc) with Mathematics as a subject at the BSc level are also eligible to apply for lateral entry admission to the third semester of BE/ BTech.

BTech lateral entry is offered under three specialisations at CT University. The specialisations offered are Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. To be eligible for the BTech programme at CT University the aspiring candidates need to take LEET exam. The total tuition fee for the BTech lateral entrey programme provided bt CT University is INR 5.1 lakh. The fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence, is indicative.

No, Amrita University does not offer lateral entry to its BTech programmes. In its the latest brochure, no such information is provided. For more clarity regarding the same, students are advised to reach out to the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission office.
