You can get admission in Shri Krishna University for B.Tech mechanical engineering through directly or giving entrance exam.

For B Tech cources in TU one must appear in JEE Mains and then through JoSSA councilling for direct admission and you have to secure a good score let say for general around 82-85 percentile in JEE Mains. And for lateral entry one must appear in TUEE Tezpur University Entrence Exam) held by the university. But for North East students there is 60% reservation for admission and seperate councilling.

No. There is no lateral entry admission offered for B.Tech and UG Programmes. Diploma holders (10+3) are eligible for B.Sc.

To get admission in Central University of Karnataka (CUK) for B.Tech courses (lateral entry), you must have completed a 3-year Diploma in engineering with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. You can register yourself online for admission by filling out the B.Tech lateral entry admission registration form and registering for the entrance exam (if required). To get admission in Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences for B.Tech courses (lateral entry), you can check out the eligibility criteria for 2nd Year admission to B.Tech. In Engineering on their website. You can also find the admission process for academic year 2022-23 on their website. You can carry a printed copy of application form and original documents with two Sets of Photocopy as per given list, along with DD of 1st Instalment of Academic Fees, Medical Fees & Caution Money drawn in favour of Symbiosis University of Applied Science, payable at Indore. B.Tech Students are required to report to the university. I hope this helps!

Under the NIFT lateral entry admission (NLEA) scheme, the candidate can get admission directly to the 3rd semester of the B. Des programme. Candidates opting for the NLEA scheme need to first appear in the General Ability Test (GAT). Candidates who get shortlisted has to next appear in a Studio Test, and finally in a Personal Interview. The GAT test will carry 40% weightage, Studio Test carries 40% weightage, while the Interview carries 20% weightage. It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the stages of the exam. If not, he or she will not be included in the admission merit list.
