BTech Lateral Entry course lasts for three years unlike the four-year full-time course,  Aspirants seeking admission to BTech Lateral Entry course must pass a Diploma in Engineering with 60% aggregate or its equivalent (50% aggregate for reserved category). As per the selection process for this course, the university selects candidates based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying exam, followed by a Statement of Purpose (500 words).
