The B.Tech ECE Engineering programme which ensures learning of basic concepts and relevant practices with a choice of specializations such as Communication systems, Signal Image processing, Embedded/VLSI design and Artificial intelligence to be successful entrepreneurs, do corporate jobs and higher studies. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering:Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning)Quantitative Aptitude Skills. The salient feature of the ECE are:
1) Contemporary Curriculum:knowledge in the major areas of ECE such as Communication Systems, Signal Image Processing, Communication Networks, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Robotics and Control.
2) Industry Immersion: The programme incorporates multiple avenues like full-term/year industrial trainings, industrial projects and curriculum delivery through adjunct faculty from the corporate world addressing real-life situations.
3) Projects: The students get ample opportunities to work on real-life industrial projects in various courses, weekend clubs and ongoing department research projects.
4) Industrial Visits: Industry visits are an integral part of the programme duly facilitated through division of industry interface (DII) to witness industrial practices and possible up gradations.
5) State-of-the-Art Labs State-of-the-art labs such as Cadence, LabView, OptiSystem have been established through university programs. Centres of excellence have been established by eminent corporate. Fill out and submit the online application form for lateral admission that is available on the official website of Amity itself. Upload self-attested copies of all relevant mark sheets from Class 10 onwards until the last completed semester or year. And also upload the detailed course structure for the last completed semester or year for course mapping. Pay the application fee of INR 1,100 through a debit or credit card. Diploma students can apply for lateral admission in BTech only if they have all the marksheets of the diploma with a pass in all subjects with a minimum of 60% marks. For BTech Computer Science Engineering, the requirement is passing in all subjects with a minimum of 70% marks.
