Dear Student, The UG-CLAT 2020 would focus on evaluating the comprehension and reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. Overall, it is designed to be a test of aptitude and skills that are necessary for a legal education rather than prior knowledge, though prior knowledge occasionally may be useful to respond to questions in the Current Affairs section. The UG-CLAT 2020 shall be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects with corresponding weightage.

Dear Student, It is not compulsory that you have to give CLAT exam to get admission in law college. Most of colleges follow different admission procedure and accept scores of CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) or other law entrance exams for admissions. Dear Student, For legal aptitude you've three things. You're provided with principle/s and then there are facts. Then you've the options from which you need to choose. The first thing to keep in mind is that the principle is the ultimate. Don't ever try to apply the general knowledge you have about the law while solving your questions. If the principle says theft is not an offence then for the 0.30 seconds you take to solve the question you must abide by that.
