CLAT 2024 dates for admission to MNLU Mumbai are out. Students seeking admission to UG and PG courses offered at National Law Universities (NLUs) can apply for CLAT 2024 on or before Nov 3, 2023 since the applications are currently ongoing. Only students who fill out the application form as well as, pay the fee are issued admit cards to appear for CLAT exam 2024. Students can log in using their registered mobile number and password to update their preferences in CLAT 2024 application form. Conducted in pen-and-paper mode, candidates have to attempt questions from English, Current Affairs and GK, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Mathematics for UG course, and from Constitutional Law, and other law subjects like Jurisprudence, Torts, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law, and IPR. For admission 2024 at MNLU Mumbai, the exam is scheduled for Dec 3, 2023.Candidates who are willing to get into MNLU Mumbai for the one-year LLM or five-year LLB course must specific the desired course in the application form.

For admission to NLSIU Bangalore for the LLB or LLM course, the result of CLAT 2024 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CLAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for NLSIU Bangalore admission via CLAT counselling and seat allotment.CLAT 2024 result contains details like the candidate's overall and sectional scores, and merit rank. Those who will qualify CLAT 2024 by meeting the required minimum cutoff as per the merit list are called for counselling process for seat allotment.Note that for admission to the 5-year LLB or LLM courses, the candidate will have to meet the CLAT 2024 cut-off in their respective category. The CLAT 2024 merit rank list will be shared at the time of admission and seat allotments. Candidates ranked higher in CLAT 2024 merit list will be given preference during the seat allotment process.

For admission to one-year LLM or five-year LLB at NLSIU Bangalore, the CLAT test will be conducted on Dec 3, 2023. Aspirants of NLSIU Bangalore are required to appear for the exam in offline pen-paper mode at the allotted test centres. Candidates can complete the CLAT registration 2024 until Nov 3, 2023 in online mode. The exam will take place in more than 125 cities listed as CLAT 2024 test centres in 22 states and UTs. The detailed schedule of CLAT 2024 will be declared soon along with the CLAT Exam Centers 2024.The CLAT question paper for undergraduate courses has total 120 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language,  Logical Reasoning,  Legal Reasoning,  CLAT3 Affairs including General Knowledge and  CLAT1 Techniques. The CLAT LLM question paper has both objective- and subjective-type questions. During CLAT counselling, candidates will be provided the option to choose from three options; i.e. freeze, float and exit. Candidates can understand all options below:Freeze Option: In case a candidate is happy with the seat alloted to him/her then they can freeze it. With this they won't be allowed to appear in the further rounds of counselling. If a candidate freezes the seat, it means that the candidate is confirming their seat at the allotted National Law University (NLU).Float Option: If a candidate is not happy with the seat allotted to them and wants to pariticpate in further rounds of counselling they can select the float option. This option mean that candidate is accepting the seat allotted to them but is willing to pariticpate in further rouns of counselling for a better college. Candidate must note that in case they choose the float option and is allotted a seat in the next round then the seat allotted in the previous round will be forfeited.Exit Option: During the counselling process, if a candidate feels that they don't want to pariticipate further, then they may choose an option to exit. If they choose this option, it means that they are withdrawing from the counselling process and they will not be considered for further round of counselling. 

If you go through the pattern of CLAT exam, you will see that it is mostly general and does not involve any difficult subject. If you have basic understanding of English and have some interest in reading news and Current Affairs you are ready for two sections. The most challenging part, for most students, is Mathematics. However, it is of elementary standard and does not require special knowledge. If you did well in Math in class X, you have an edge. Only section that needs special preparation is legal aptitude. Most class XII students do not have idea about law. If you start in time and join coaching classes for help, you can get a hold of the basics in no time. So, we can say that CLAT is easy if you have basic knowledge of topics involved and you are prepared for some hard work to hone your skills further.
