The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) syndicate had removed the descriptive section from the Latin Legum Magister Postgraduate (LL. M. PG) question paper pattern.
The CLAT exam contained 120 objective questions worth 120 points. The same pattern was followed for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 as well.
The Consortium of National Law Universities has published the Common Law Admission Test paper pattern in the official notification.
There is no change in the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam pattern 2023.

1- Total number of questions: 150
2- Total number of marks: 150
3- Type of questions: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
4- Negative Marking: Yes (1/4th)

Students can attempt the Common Law Admission Test CLAT with no limits on their attempts. Other than Indian Nationals, candidates who are NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are also eligible as per the Common Law Admission Test Eligibility. Common Law Admission Test CLAT Eligibility for 2023 will be verified officially at the time of counseling and final admission.

Preparation Plan:
1- Know the marking scheme.
2- Build a strong conceptual understanding.3: Practice and analyze (mathematics, general knowledge, current affairs, legal reasoning, and English).
4- Prepare a weekly and monthly timetable and have the syllabus handy.
5- Make sure to cover all the topics and concepts right on time and revise them at frequent intervals.
6- Write mock tests and practice tests frequently, and analyze the tests taken to recognize the weak areas and work towards improving them.

CLAT eligibility criteria for UG law programs:
Students must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or institution with 45 percent marks. Students appearing in the qualifying exam (the Class 10+2 exam) in April or May 2023 are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2023. However, such students must produce the Certificate of Qualifying Examination at the time of admission, failing which their admission will be canceled. I hope this will help you.

The application form will start from the 2nd week of November 2022 (Tentative) for the January session and for the May session application form will start from the last week of January 2023. The early registration process ends: 2nd the week of December 2022 (Tentative)
Registration close: 1st week of January 2023 (Tentative). Test Scheduling/ Admit card availability: 1st week of January 2023 (Tentative). Exam date: 2nd week of January 2023 (Tentative). There is no age cutoff for CLAT and at any age you can go for doing Law.
But to sit in CLAT you have to be in 12th Appearing or 12th Passed and this is the minimum qualification.
