Yes, you can get into the LLB programme offered at Ajeenkya DY Patil University without appearing for the CLAT exam. The university accepts students on the basis of their entrance exam (ACET for Law) conducted by the university. Those who clear then entrance exam are then called for personal interview for final shortlisting. Hence, there is no need to appear for the CLAT exam. Eligible students can apply for the LLB course by visiting the official website of the university.

With a CLAT rank of 30,000, admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) is highly unlikely for their main campuses, as most of them have cutoffs well below this rank. However, you may still have chances in some newer or less competitive NLUs, especially in lower-category programs. It's important to explore options like private law colleges, or consider appearing in other law entrance exams to increase your chances for admission to a reputed law school.

The choice between CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) and the AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) Entrance Exam depends on your preferences and goals. CLAT is a national-level exam for admission to prestigious law schools across India, offering a wider range of colleges. AMU's entrance exam is specific to Aligarh Muslim University and its affiliated law programs. If you prefer a broader range of options and national recognition, CLAT might be better. However, if you're focused on AMU's unique offerings, its entrance exam would be ideal.

Moreover, this Delhi-based university offers both BA LLB and BBA LLB law courses that GGSIPU offers. GGSIPU used to get students on the basis of their CLAT score while this year it has announced that it will accept students through both CLAT and CUET scores for their law courses. Year after year, the cutoff ranks for the SC category in GGSIPUs legal programs tend to vary owing to the number of applicants, seat availability, and difficulty of the exam. For example, cutoff ranks for SC were approximately 3000 and above over the past years at the top National Law Universities (NLUs) which translates into CLAT scores of 80+ marks. Unfortun

For all degree programmes in Law, admissions will be based on the CLAT 2022 Scores and +2 aggregate taken in the ratio of 25% : 75% respectively. For all other degree programmes in Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Education, etc., admissions will be based on the qualifying exam marks.Candidates who have completed graduation from recognised colleges can also apply at colleges which admit candidates on the basis of merit. Therefore, candidates have ample opportunities to pursue LLB even without appearing CLAT.
