Hi Raju, you're studying in 1st year in Calcutta university? Is that right? Well, yes you can appear for law entrance exams irrespective of what you have studies/ what you're planning to study. Prepare well for 2019 and the other option that you have is that is that you can finish your graduation and then also you can go for 3 year. LL.B. So either 5 year. B.A. LL.B. (after 12th) or 3 year. LL.B. ( after graduation), you've both the options.

ILS does not accept CLAT. It does not conduct it's own entrance test.
The admission is solely on the basis of score and ranking in MHT CET exam

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur; School of Law, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun; Jindal Global Law School, Sonipat ; KLE Society's Law College, Bangalore;JSS Law College, Mysore; Alliance School of Law, Bangalore; Sharda University, Greater Noida; The NorthCap University, Gurgaon; VIT Law School, Chennai; GH Raisoni Law School, Nagpur; Auro University, Surat'; Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi. Ramaih doesn't come under ISAT. There are many misleading websites which also say that NLSIU comes under ISAT while it stri

Yes, you can give CLAT and secure a seat in NLSIU for LL.B. But, for that you have to secure really good marks to get admission in this college as only top 50 students are selected in this college.

If you are really serious about cracking the CLAT exam then I'd suggest that you should go with LegalEdge because of its closeness to actual CLAT. I joined LE for 2 consecutive years, and trust me LE is the best CLAT coaching in my knowledge. Great teachers, great study environment. And their mock tests are just great and love the explanation and analysis. It is also good in terms of quality and there are no errors.
