In my opinion, CLAT is a bit more in a higher pedestal than BLAT not that I am saying anyone of it is better than the other because both of them represent India's most reputed institutions when it comes to Law and I would suggest that you appear for both but make CLAT your priority because it's your gateway to a seat in one of the finest colleges in India. Yes, practical marks are to be added to the total. As practical+theory= 100 marks in CBSE or any equivalent board. So, 54 is your aggregate percentage. Further, for NLU's you need to be amongst top ranker. So, you have to prepare like the toppers.
Further, there are other eligibility exams for admission to other top institute for law education.
