Not important, but National Law Universities which you get through CLAT are like IITs of law. They provide an overall better experience than any other law college.

You will definitely get Bhopal campus, but in the main round of CLAT, it would be difficult, you can get it in the vacant seats round, if you can apply for Calcutta campus then you might get that.

You shall get private colleges from the ideal institute and lower in rank in the spot counselling round. There is a very little chance of getting VIPS or Amity based on if the seat is available in the spot round. You also have the option to migrate to the main campus of Amity or VIPs in your second year. My personal suggestion would be not to go with VIPS.

Stay put. After all the drama that took place this year, there might be a possibility. But I would suggest having some backup options.
Best of luck.

Hello Reena, I can understand your concern. I am afraid with such score it would be quite difficult to get a good college. But I would advise you to take part in admission process. Some surprises can occur in later rounds. Just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

If you are interested to get admissions in the prestigious NLUs, then giving CLAT exams is mandatory. There are many other colleges who take the CLAT score. They also have their own admission exams like LET, LSAT etc. So if NLUs are not your priority, then you may not give CLAT, but I do recommend it.
