Although they are referred to in the same terms, there are various fields in the corporate / business law that you could specialise in. For CLAT, if you're looking into getting a good seating, then start preparations at the earliest. The earlier you start, the easier it gets.

BHU is a very good place to join with fair placements. NLUs provide better placements an to that BHU is very good insofar judicial services are concerned.

CLAT tests more of your intelligence based on time management. So, once you learn what you're supposed to, time yourselves and answer mock papers. This will really help to see which section takes you a longer time and you can go back and work on that. Focus on your weak points and make them stronger. Don't neglect GK. Good luck, hope this helps.

CLAT is the Common Law Entrance Test that allows you to get into the various National Law Schools across the country. Although the NLU Delhi has a separate entrance exam a.k.a AILET. You need to have a minimum rank ranging from 1500-2000. This number will be reduced drastically after counselling. To crack CLAT, it is wise to start preparations at least a year in advance. There are various coaching centres, online sites and books for the prepared of the same. Remember, time management is very essential to crack CLAT. You will have a lot of competition. Good luck, hope this helps.

The minimum cut off is usually 1500-2000 out of which there will be further scrutiny and the number will come down drastically. AILET admits are only for NLU Delhi, whereas CLAT ranks will put you in the other Law schools across the country. A minimum of 60 ranking is required to get a seating in NLSIU- Bangalore. Good luck, hope this helped!

You might not get admission in NMIMS with this score considering previous years cut off. I wish things turn your way. I will suggest you to look for other options as well.

SRM, according to me is preferable, because of its quality infrastructure, faculty and placements.
