Yes, you can go for other law colleges, and the NLUs would call you for admission, according to the various phases of counselling.
you might even keep patience and wait for the vacancies in NLUs.

To get admission in 2018, your 2017 score wont be considered, so you need to take the test again.

At least try attempting 180 questions and make sure that you score around 160 in an easy paper, while in a tough paper you might score around 130, which is considered to be quite safe.

Please do not drop, that's a suggestion. Join any educational programme and prepare simultaneously. If you are really patient, then wait for the vacancies as offered by NLUs, you might easily get through one of the bottom NLUs.

You have got a decent score, so you might wait for the vacancies in the national law schools or join some good private college.
By the way, what is your CLAT rank?

Hello Atul,
It is difficult to get a national law college with this rank. You can try for the vacanies in various colleges. I hope you must have appeared for other law entrance exams. Also, try for the colleges which take admissions on the basis of CLAT score.

Hi,
Many private and semi government institutes contact you to take to take admission in their institute but what they mainly lack is strong alumni network and best legal faculty. Take a wise step because it's about your future.
All the best.

After 12th, register for CLAT online.
Prepare for exam and it conducts in the month of May every year.
However, CLAT is very tough so you need to take coaching.
