Common proficiency test is an entrance exam for CA whereas CLAT is an entrance exam for law. Both are completely different.

Go as per your interest.
If you are interested in law, and you are hard-working and have a lot of patience, go for law.
Or, do an MBA in a reputed college and get placed.

Yes, you can do LLB course after B.com. The duration will be of 3 yrs.
The eligibility criteria for LLB course is that one should have B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com degree with minimum 40% marks in aggregate for general category and 35% in aggregate for SC/ST students. But, you have to pass the entrance exam and personal interview.

Yes, you can get admission in good private colleges such as O. P. Jindal and UPES through LSAT.

There can only be one college on top and in Bangalore, it is National Law University and it does not admit student without CLAT. Other good colleges are MS Ramaiah and CMR Law School Bangalore. You can apply directly. There is no other reputed college in Bangalore for law.
