Yes, you can pursue LL. M. in international taxation law from the USA or Canada. Both countries have reputable law schools that offer LL. M. programs in international taxation law. You can research the admission requirements of different universities and apply to the ones that meet your criteria. Keep in mind that admission requirements, fees, and application deadlines may vary depending on the university and programme, so it's essential to do your research beforehand. Additionally, you may need to take the ISAT (Law School Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) to be eligible for admission to some programs.

Hi Soniya Singh, IGNOU mark sheets are valid, but universities abroad asks for an evaluation as per their rules. So, please check with the universities and do what is necessary. It will depend on the university, if they accept or not. Generally, it is accepted.

Hi Rajveer,
Certain core elements or fundamentals tend to be the same but you cannot tag it as a 'same subject'. Different countries have different jurisdiction and different legal aspects. Every country has its own law. Programs vary accordingly. You may choose to be a subject matter expert which can be used anywhere in the world like business law, etc. You can practice in India after gaining your LLB from abroad or USA, you are required to apply for registration to your respective State Bar Councils upon their return to India. You must also check if the foreign university is recognized by the Bar Council of India.
