Following the publication of the PU UGLAW 2025 merit list, candidates who qualify will need to participate in the PU UGLAW counselling process based on their ranking in the list. The counselling for both the BA LLB and BCom LLB programs is set to commence in July 2025. PU UGLAW 2025 merit list for BA LLB (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) courses will tentatively be released in July 2025. The merit lists for the two programmes will be released separately at uglaw.puchd.ac.in.Candidates whose names are mentioned on the PU UGLAW merit lists 2025 will be considered for admission BA LLB (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) courses offered by Panjab University.

If two or more candidates received the same merit score, Panjab University will use the following process to determine their order in the merit list:Higher marks in Class 12 will result in a higher rank for candidates.Candidates who received higher grades in Class 10th will receive a higher rank if the tie remains.The candidate who is older will be given a higher rating if the tie is still not broken.
