All India Bar Exam (AIBE)'s previous year's question papers are important for various reasons which include knowing the priority topics which are frequently asked in the examination, to be familiar with the question pattern of the examination, time management during the examination and to identify the weak spaces which need more improvement. NMIMS Bangalore accepts students on an entrance basis for its BA LLB programme. The university conducts its own entrance test known as NMIMS LAT for admissions to its Law courses. Additionally, students with a valid score in other law entrance tests, such as CLAT and LSAT India can also apply. Eligible students can visit the official website of the university to apply for the BA LLB course by filling out the application form and registering thesmelves.

There are generally high cutoff marks for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Law, for admission at Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College.The required score for first round and last round was 98.1 and 96.18 respectively for B.A.LL.B.With this type of score required,  it is very difficult to secure admission at the institute.
