First step involves eligibility criteria, which usually present a minimum percentage required in the Master's degree in the relevant area. Research the area of law or arts for doing your Ph.D. Here also, complete a clear research proposal for a Ph.D. Improve your research and analytical skills, and read widely on various current developments within your chosen field. Prepare for an entrance test, if required, and be updated with all the specific requirements of the university concerned. Lastly, aim at a good academic record along with relevant work experience.

Sometimes, the BBA LLB cutoff marks of the Faculty of Law, MIT World Peace University (WPU) may depend upon entrance exam scores along with the number of candidates and seat availability, etc. In recent years, admission under the MIT-WPU entrance exam or even CLAT has gone with a score approximately in the range of 100-120 out of 200. The cutoff marks, however, do vary on a year-to-year basis. One is advised to revisit the official website of the university regularly to obtain any new update from them in respect of cutoff and admission criteria.

AIBE (All India Bar Exam) is a mandatory examination for law professionals to practice law in India. However, candidates who graduated with their three-year LLB or five-year LLB degree before 2009 or 2010 are not required to do so ,this implies that graduates before the year 2009 (till 2008) are exempted from the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) . To know more about the examination, candidates can refer to the official website of the institute or shiksha.
