The general eligibility criteria for admission to the BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws) programme at Rayat Bahra University are as follows.Educational qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 12 exam or equivalent from a recognised board. Minimum overall score of 45% for general category students. Minimum score of 40% for SC/ST candidates.Age limit: For general type applicants' age must be under 20 years. There has been a relaxation of age for SC/ST candidates and generally the maximum age for them is 22 years.

The eligibility criteria required by the university to grant admission to the BA LLB course is candidates must qualify their Class 12 with at least an aggregate of 50% from any stream. The total tuition fee for the BA LLB course is INR 2.5 lakh.
