The ILICAT (Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test) follows a specific pattern designed to test the legal aptitude and reasoning of the candidates aspiring to pursue LLM courses. The eligibility criteria to appear for the ILICAT Exam 2025 are as follows:For LLM Program:Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an LLB degree (3-year or 5-year integrated) from a recognised university.Minimum Marks: General category candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in the LLB degree, while reserved category candidates may have a relaxation based on the institute’s rules.Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in the final year of their LLB degree are also eligible to apply, provided they can submit the required documents at the time of admission.For PhD Program:         Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a recognised university.         Minimum Marks: A minimum of 55% in LLM is required for general candidates (relaxations might be available for reserved categories).These are the broad eligibility criteria, though specific rules might vary, and candidates should always refer to the official notification for exact details.

For admission to NLSIU Bangalore LLM programme, candidates have to register through CLAT portal. Registered candidates for CLAT 2025 counselling will be called by NLSIU Bangalore through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT.Candidates, who have been allocated a seat in the provisional lists and applied for revision, should check the status of their seat in the CLAT provisonal lists. Those, who have been allotted a seat in the NLSIU Provisional Allotment Lists, must complete the process of exercising any one of the actions Either accept the allotted seat or apply for revise or exit from the CLAT admission process. After, that they need to report to NLSIU Bangalore for admission. The admission confirmation requires, documents submission and fees submission by the candidates through the official portal of NLSIU Bangalore.
