The university accept applications via online mode. Hence, the eligible students can visit the university official website to register and apply. The details required for registration are basic details, such as applicants name, mobile number, interested course, etc. Moreover, the application form must be submitted on or before the prescribed deadline. To submit the form successfully, the application fee amount of INR 500 for general and INR 250 for reserved categories has to be paid.

For admission to BA LLB programme of Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility and selection criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to register and take the entrance test. Calcutta University admit candidates to the integrated course based on Calcutta University Law Entrance Test (CULET-UG) scores. After selection, candidates need to take part in e-counselling for seat allotment. After this, the coure fee amount can be paid for seat confirmation.

The Supreme Court announced the eligibility criteria of All India Bar Examination 2024. The AIBE 19 Exam 2024 was held on December 22, 2024. The SC gave nod to the final-year law students to appear for AIBE 19 (XIX) Exam 2024. As per the AIBE 19 Notification 2024, all those candidates who do not have an enrollment certificate, and are in the final semester of 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree course could appear for the AIBE 19 (XIX) Exam 2024. AIBE 19 (XIX) Registration for final year students began on September 25, 2024 and last date to apply was on or before November 15, 2024.

For 2024 admission, the e-counselling rounds were scheduled on Aug 30, 2024, Sep 9, 2024 and Sep 13, 2024, as per unofficial sources.

A concise placements report is not available as of now for BA LLB placed students. However, as per the Calcutta University NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG (five-year) students stood at INR 7.84 LPA. Moreover, out of 119 students, 95 were placed.
