Hey, Eligibility criteria can be different depending on the course level and university. Below are some common criteria:PG (LLM) Specialisation: Most of the colleges require the applicant to have a Bachelor of Laws  (LLB) with minimum GPA. Some may consider candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in related fields including Medicine, Public Health or HealthcareDiploma or Certificate Courses: There are some colleges which may require a law degree while there are others which may accept candidates with degree in related field but with working experience.Hope it cleared your doubt !

Yes, Faculty of Law BHU LLB (Hons) course aspirants can apply for the university scholarships. To avail of a scholarship, the necessary documents have to be submitted. Below are the scholarships details:A maximum of 20 blind students can get an amount of INR 5,000 per annum per head as financial assistance.First and second rank holders are awarded a cash prize of INR 4,000 and INR 3,000, respectively.An amount of INR 2,000 per annum is granted as assistance to students with a poor family background. It is available for 100 students.

The university provide placements support to the candidates. As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 25 candidates were placed out of 180. Moreover, the median package offered to the placed candidates stood at INR 8.5 LPA. In 2021, the median package offered was INR 8 LPA.

The seat allotment process at the Faculty of Law BHU is done on the basis of merit in CUET-PG. Candidates have to participate in the counselling round to secure a seat. There are a total of 286 seats for the LLB (Hons) programme. This seat count is a per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Faculty of Law BHU admit candidates to the three-year LLB (Hons) course on entrance-basis. Candidates are selected based on scores in CUET-PG. The first step of admission procedure is to check eligibility criteria. Candidates with a valid UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply. Aspirants can visit the CUET-PG official website to apply. A cutoff list is then released, candidates who meet the cutoff mark become eligible for counselling. The seats are allotted in the counselling round. Selected candidates can pay the admission fee amount for selection.
