A lawyer can serve in several roles. Here are some examples, but in practice most lawyers do more than one of these, sometimes even simultaneously:
1. A Lawyer is an Advocate
Here, by advocate, I mean somebody who tries to advance their clients interests in some way, typically involving (at least to some extent) persuasion. The classic example is in court, especially in something like closing arguments: a lawyer advocates for their client by persuading the judge or jury that their client deserves to win their case.
2. A Lawyer is a Counselor

On the other hand BBA LL.B. Covers management and business subjects along with law. However the career opportunities for both these courses are same. Dear Sir, A lawyer is someone who is a graduate in law. A person who has been to law school and has an LL.B. Degree. A lawyer cannot practice in courts. An Advocate is someone who is enrolled in any of the State Bar Councils in India. Once a lawyer exists on the roll of the State Bar Council and Bar Council of India, he/she will become an Advocate.
