No, you cannot become an advocate after completing a law degree from an open degree program. The Bar Council of India (BCI) does not recognize LLB degrees obtained through distance or online learning.  To practice law in India, you must have a law degree from a regular course. You can enroll in a regular course for either 5 years or 3 years if you already have a graduation degree. After completing the course, you can enroll with the BCI for your license.  Law courses pursued through distance learning are only for knowledge. The BCI does not recognize any distance or part-time LLB degrees. &n

Yes, you can show a digital copy of the KMAT admit card to the online proctor. The proctor will be able to view the admit card on their screen and verify your identity.

No, its not at all necessary to give CLAT to become a lawyer. Candidates can enroll in law courses offered by various universities and colleges to pursue UG and PG law courses. However, those who wish to take admission in one of NLUs except NLU Delhi will have to appear for Common National Admission Test (CLAT).  Many private university conducts their own entrance exam having exam pattern similar to CLAT but with less difficulty level.
