To become a librarian you need to do a course around it. There are Diploma and Certificate courses, for the students who have passed 10+2 level education. For Bachelor courses like B. Lib. (Bachelor of Library Science) & BLI Sc (Bachelor of Library Information Science), candidates should have a graduate level degree from any recognized university.

Candidates who wish to pursue B. Lib course must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria. Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university. A minimum score of 50% in the same. Although, in some cases, minimum score and age limit for pursuing B. Lib course varies from institute to institute. However, there is no set age limit for pursuing this librarian course in some distance learning institutes.
