You must Pass any graduation with 50 percent marks or passed a graduation degree with a Diploma in library Science. As blis is of only 1 year UG programme so you must have your Bachelor degree or Diploma already to ally in blis. Admission to BLIS is merit-based. Bachelor of Library and Information Science course by IGNOU is of 1year duration but can be completed in a maximum of 4 years. It is a distance learning, online course offered by IGNOU. The course fee for Bachelor of Library and Information Science is Rs.5000. The candidate needs to submit the form through online mode only by visiting the official website of the University. The

UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. So don't worry you can do B.Ed and blis together.
